  • Strategies on how to reduce hypertension and cardiovascular disease are writen about in regards to the population level approach. The article discusses the importance of diet restrictions when dealing with hypertension and cardiovascular disease. The article then goes on to describe that not a lot of studies have follow up included in them. The author discusses the importance of programs of research that require focus on the development and evaluation of intervention within each implementation.

  • BETTER approach is used to be more proactive with prevention of chronic diseases. It allows patients to be drivers of their own healthcare and more engaged.
